How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent, and you believe that material on our website infringes your copyright, please send us a written notification including the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL(s) of the page(s) where it appears.
  3. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  4. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  5. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What We Do Upon Receiving a Valid Notice

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Treaty Alliance News will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the user or contributor who posted the material, if applicable.
  • Provide information on how to file a counter-notification, if appropriate.

How to Submit a Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed and its location before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.
